We had a photo shoot with our whole herd earlier this month and just got the first photo back! Fox Trot Photography did a wonderful job and were wonderful to work with. If you live in Texas, you should check them out! More pictures to come.
They're here! Acorn and her new colt are healthy and adjusting well. We couldn't be happier. This foal will be for sale and ready to go to a new home after weaning.
Acorn's little foal is a mover and they aren't even here yet! Come on baby! These two are the cutest couple. Acorn is such a flirt, and 9 days past her due date! We are anxiously awaiting the arrival of this foal. Come on baby! We're ready to meet you!
We've completed our foaling stalls! Now if only these mares would foal! We're just too excited for these foals!
Acorn is only 12 days from her due date, but it looks like she might deliver early! It has been beautiful here so we took advantage of it and gave her a bath. We can not wait to meet this foal. Contact us today to learn how you can bring this baby home.
It's time for a giveaway! Head over to out Facebook page to submit your guess as to what the circumferences of our mares' baby bumps are. Whoever is the closest has their choice of t-shirt, color changing mug, or tote bag. There will be TWO winners! Contest ends February 22nd. Good luck!
We took Acorn and Tweetie to the CSU Vet Teaching Hospital, where the students got to practice their ultrasound techniques. Here is a video of Acorn's foal's heartbeat. As you can see it is strong and steady. Both foals are looking healthy and big. We couldn't be more excited. We hope you all have had some very merry holidays! We decided to spread love and cheer in the best way. Pony Rides! Our lovely Acorn is great with kids and we had so much fun sharing her with children who wouldn't normally get the chance to be around horses. If you want a unicorn at your next event or birthday party contact us.
